Happy Chinese New Year ^^
Yoo, people... Happy Chinese New Year to all of you. May this year be a prosperous year for all of you . Anyway, why is chinese new year always related to money, money and money?? Does it mean that all chinese love money that much? (oops.. no offense for those chinese, actually i am a chinese myself). Money is very important for all of us, but will those money make our life meaningful, may not necessary be, right? Still, people can't live without money, i agree with that. Haha.. Let's not talk about money first.
Yup2, 3 days of chinese new year have passed. And, i've just finished packing my bag and be ready to return to s'pore. Haizz.. Anyway, i'm so grateful to be back at home to spend my chinese new year with my lovely family. So, these are what i did for these 3 days:
1st day:
Every cny's tradition, my family went to the temple called Borobudur in the morning to pray for my grandparents (dad's parents). As usual, i'm really confused whether to pray or not (i consider myself a Christian but my parents are Buddhist). But since it's new year, i shall just follow their ritual. Then, we visited my parents ex-neighbour's house (we went there for every cny), my uncle, again another temple but i just stayed in the car as the place was overcrowded (fiuh..^^"), then home. For dinner, we ate the remaining food from our new year eve's dinner. If i'm not mistaken, it's good to have excess food rather than shortage of food for new year eve's dinner, coz it means you'll earn more throughout the year. Again, it's about money. wakaka. After dinner, 2 of my cousins came to the house together with their family. yeah, i've become an aunt anyway. lol. It's so nice to look at those kids they have. It is really peaceful to witness their naive state, innocence, and happiness that they show in their face. Wah, it'd be so nice to be a kid again. So 1st day of cny is really tiring for me. haha..
2nd day:
Yup, again another trip to other people's house. Luckily or can be said sadly, most of my relatives are scattered around the places like Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, HongKong, Australia. So, we can't really visit them for CNY. Only thing that we can do is just to call them. Thanks for the invention of telephone (merit given to Graham Bell of course, and other genious creatures that make international call possible). Anyway, not much trip we had for this day, but most of them came to our house. Besides that, we had a small open house for my parents' friends. That's all for today. But still, it's also a tiring and enjoyable day.
3rd day (my last day of cny at home which is today):
What should i do for last day at home? Make it the fullest of course. The whole day i accompanied my parents to visit their friends' houses. But before that, we went to tiwi's home (she's my "sohib" or my close pal). First time looking at her wearing long pink pyjamas (hope i din say wrongly. lol..), she's cute in that. I was quite amazed as all the house owners whose houses we visited today are dog lovers. Really, it's like a gathering for dog lovers including my family. Moreover, they stay in the same house estate. From a tiny one, pomeranian breed till a super big dog like rockweiler. The good thing is that i know better about dogs. Yay!! So greatful to have Dolly at home. wakaka.. Yeah, so beside looking at different kind of dogs, i've the chance to look at different home designs which are quite unique.
Yup2, i'm so happy that i've made the fullest to enjoy my short break during cny at home. So, tomorrow i'm gonna be back to reality with all the hectic schedules at school and hostel. Jia yooo!! Gambatte neee... This applies to all of you in S'pore as well especially my fellow friends.
Looking forward to spending such enjoyable holiday again with family especially. Gonna miss them a lot and not forgetting my little Dolly .
Sometimes the system goes on a blink
And the whole thing it turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know (bad day by daniel powter)
