Ponponpatapon ^^

It's Oldham Founder's Day today. And, it's one of the compulsory event in Oldham. But, anyway, i'm very glad to join this event. Guess why. It's b'coz i finally have excuse to skip the 'terrible' choir practice at school. Hm.. So, founder's day is a celebration for the founding of acs and oldham and OH invited several boarding schools to participate in competition (for girls, captain's ball.. while for guys, futsal).

Basically, 9 of us team up namely me, Tiwi, Fanie, Cindy, Maura, Oli, Ita, Asri and Nianci to form the 'patapon' team. Our first match was with Anglican house. Then, the match was really messy for me as i couldn't really oversee the whole game and decide on the next strategy to use against them. So, we lost to them by 2 points. Our 2nd match was with cj hostel and i told my team that winning is not our aim for today, but we need to relax and have fun in this game. Then, my team member was just so burning for that game. oh ya, for this match, i became the catcher and i asked them to trust me in catching the ball. The game was really awesome as the whole team was really so good and i can see that they enjoyed the match. (YAY! great that we can enjoy it). Despite the strong team that we faced, we managed to beat them and it's so satisfying. hoho.. But, sadly we din get in for semifinal b'coz we lost for our 1st match. Think back again, i shd have realised earlier that i may try being the catcher for the 1st match, perhaps we can win the 2 points frm them. hmm.. anyway, it has passed anyway. As long as my 'patapon' team had fun, winning is no longer important for me.

Really enjoyed the founder's day. Thanks 'patapon' for putting up the good show for everyone in sports hall today. You all did a wonderful job, especially for 2nd match. I could see all of you were burning during the game. yeah! Wish that we have a chance to play again next time as a team. really looking forward to it.

Ltd Ed

This blog is inspired by the selling of limited coca cola can in Orchard Road, S'pore. Basically, this afternoon, I happened to walk around there after church and there was stall set up outside starbucks cafe that sold this limited coke cans to celebrate Spore being the host for 2010 youth olympic. It costs only 1 buck and since i jz bought it for fun. But, the main thing that i'd like to raise is not bout this, but bout the limited edition itself.

Hm.. talking about limited edition, it reminds me of sth that i've said to some OH ppl. haha.. think back again, it's super lame. Ok, let me jz tell u guys e story. But, i'm so sorry dat i'll write it in Indo instead of English, coz e joke has no effect in English.

Gini nii.. Kan ada tuh suatu hari anak2 di oldham yg duduk semeja ma gw di dining hall, then cerita2 gitu deh, lbh tepatny nge-gosip si. Ya, trus menyamping ampe ngomong ttg pacaran gt deh. Then gw ngasi pertanyaan gt ke mreka, "Napa ya klo di s'pore ga banyak orang yg pacaran ya?". Trus, berhubung mreka pada clueless gt, gw jawab gini deh, "Soalny di S'pore barang2 pada dibilang limited edition (which means ga pasaran) gitu deh. Makany, ga banyak yg pacaran deh." LOL.... >.<

Anyway, bagi yg ga nangkep joke na sori ding. hehe.. Itu berarti level kejayusan anda masi di zone yg aman dan bisa disembuhkan dgn cepet. wakaka... ^^

Ya, side track dikit dulu ya. Gw bingung ni kenapa coke can yg tadi gw bli tuh dibilang limited y? Kan mreka jualny ampe beratus kaleng gt d, bukanny ud ga limited lagi y? hmm.. y ud deh, agak ga penting si. Tapi, bener lo klo byk brg limited edition bs ditemukan di s'pore, ampe2 ada toko khusus jual brg2 branded and limited like nike shoes, adidas jacket, etc. Keren si. hehe..

Ok then, enough about limited edition.
Fruit for swallowed (instead of fruit for thought. lol) : How limited an object is, human-being is still the best limited object, one of a kind, at least for now since human cloning is not legal yet. Yeah, we're limited edition stuff, man. hm.. should be proud of that, shdn't we?

Yeah... Finally, it's weekend. Let me tell you a very good news.
The Innova people are staying in OH. Hip..hip..HORRAYY!!!

I'm so relieved and obviously so happy to hear this wonderful news. LEA, we are able to stay in OH together for 4 years (that's a great achievement though). So, we shall treasure our time together for this year, from studying, gossiping, chatting, till playing, etc. We're unbreakable (ce i lee...). lol..

I really wanna thank OH in particular Mr.Andrew for fighting so hard to let them stay in oh. Also, i'd like to thank Him for fulfilling my hope and giving me a chance to be with LEA again. YAY!!

So, it's weekend and it's time for me to rest well before another hectic week coming. And, there are quite a lot of things to catch up especially tutorials. Haizz.. This is the life of J2. So, J2s out there, let's jia yo together for the last year of our hectic life in education (although there's still university aft JC). yup2.. Ganbatte ne...

just a note, the lyrics that i put in previous posts do not necessarily mean anything, just a random input since i always listen to i-tunes when i write blogs and sort of noticed the lyrics last times. but if u decide to think otherwise, then by all means. haha.. ok, again, i'm being random now.

1st quarter of e week - full of surprises

This week is gonna be hectic for me. But, fiuh.. luckily, 3 more days to go before weekend. Basically, days are full of tests, gp project, cca, etc. Besides that, I had my Chem SPA on the 1st day of this week and that was the time i had the 1st surprise of e week. Unexpectedly, some cracky thing happened, i.e. my boiling tube cracked for 1st time. isn't that cool? anyway, hope that the result is ok although such weird thing happened.

Today, again i had my test, physics and econs. finally it's over, man. There isn't any surprise for the test actually. The surprise thing the fact that i din get any surprise for the test (--" this sentence only meant to those thinking dat they are l**e. Lol). Anyway, today is also the JAE posting result for my juniors. I expected a surprise frm them, but good that most of them stay, especially my dearest juniors.

There isn't any surprise frm the J1s, but there is one from J2s.
WAKS!!!!!
It's about IJC J2 ppl who need to move out of OH to rib. But why them?? Why this time? (after all e waitings that i've done to have all of them to be in e same floor as me again??)
Guys, let's just hope for the best, k? I believe there's a reason behind this surprise. yup2.. But if we cannot win the petition, then, jz remember dat i'll neva forget u all (Tiwi, Karen, Josep my roomie, Santy, Nadia, Aton, Alvin, Luqman, Rizky, Dung), especially this year is supposed to be our last year staying in a hostel together although i din expect it to end so early.

-waiting for surprises for the rest of the week- Thank you God for making my every day exciting with all the surprises... ^^

The day after Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. In North America and Europe, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. Some of the valentine symbols include red roses, love knots, and love birds.(source: wikipedia, valentine's day)

As what has been explained above, Valentine's day is the day when most people in the world express their feeling to their loved ones. It has become an international event that everyone usually celebrates. Here are some parts of the universe that celebrate this day : America, Europe , even the conservative Asian countries like Japan and China, and lastly believe it or not it also does happen in middle east. This proves that love can replace anything. A very famous quote "Love is in the air" can really be felt on this day.

Yeah.. Anyway, although I can't give or get honmei-choko (本命チョコ); chocolate given to a loved one this year. I'm really grateful that i can get loads of tomo-choko (友チョコ); tomo meaning "friend" from my 'tomo's. Thanks a lot, friends. Hope that I'm able to return the favour to all of you during White day (usually this shd be done by guys. Lol..).

Not only chocolates, I also get a lot of sweets, balloons from my 'daughter' Mei and Bel as well as beautiful valentine wishes from the rest. For LEA, our love towards each other is undescribable that we don't give choc or presents to show it out (jz accept e fact that we're broke. Lol ^^).

Everyone, thanks a lot for all the sweets, chocolates, balloons and other presents for valentine.

Happy Chinese New Year ^^

Yoo, people... Happy Chinese New Year to all of you. May this year be a prosperous year for all of you . Anyway, why is chinese new year always related to money, money and money?? Does it mean that all chinese love money that much? (oops.. no offense for those chinese, actually i am a chinese myself). Money is very important for all of us, but will those money make our life meaningful, may not necessary be, right? Still, people can't live without money, i agree with that. Haha.. Let's not talk about money first.

Yup2, 3 days of chinese new year have passed. And, i've just finished packing my bag and be ready to return to s'pore. Haizz.. Anyway, i'm so grateful to be back at home to spend my chinese new year with my lovely family. So, these are what i did for these 3 days:

1st day:
Every cny's tradition, my family went to the temple called Borobudur in the morning to pray for my grandparents (dad's parents). As usual, i'm really confused whether to pray or not (i consider myself a Christian but my parents are Buddhist). But since it's new year, i shall just follow their ritual. Then, we visited my parents ex-neighbour's house (we went there for every cny), my uncle, again another temple but i just stayed in the car as the place was overcrowded (fiuh..^^"), then home. For dinner, we ate the remaining food from our new year eve's dinner. If i'm not mistaken, it's good to have excess food rather than shortage of food for new year eve's dinner, coz it means you'll earn more throughout the year. Again, it's about money. wakaka. After dinner, 2 of my cousins came to the house together with their family. yeah, i've become an aunt anyway. lol. It's so nice to look at those kids they have. It is really peaceful to witness their naive state, innocence, and happiness that they show in their face. Wah, it'd be so nice to be a kid again. So 1st day of cny is really tiring for me. haha..

2nd day:
Yup, again another trip to other people's house. Luckily or can be said sadly, most of my relatives are scattered around the places like Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, HongKong, Australia. So, we can't really visit them for CNY. Only thing that we can do is just to call them. Thanks for the invention of telephone (merit given to Graham Bell of course, and other genious creatures that make international call possible). Anyway, not much trip we had for this day, but most of them came to our house. Besides that, we had a small open house for my parents' friends. That's all for today. But still, it's also a tiring and enjoyable day.

3rd day (my last day of cny at home which is today):
What should i do for last day at home? Make it the fullest of course. The whole day i accompanied my parents to visit their friends' houses. But before that, we went to tiwi's home (she's my "sohib" or my close pal). First time looking at her wearing long pink pyjamas (hope i din say wrongly. lol..), she's cute in that. I was quite amazed as all the house owners whose houses we visited today are dog lovers. Really, it's like a gathering for dog lovers including my family. Moreover, they stay in the same house estate. From a tiny one, pomeranian breed till a super big dog like rockweiler. The good thing is that i know better about dogs. Yay!! So greatful to have Dolly at home. wakaka.. Yeah, so beside looking at different kind of dogs, i've the chance to look at different home designs which are quite unique.

Yup2, i'm so happy that i've made the fullest to enjoy my short break during cny at home. So, tomorrow i'm gonna be back to reality with all the hectic schedules at school and hostel. Jia yooo!! Gambatte neee... This applies to all of you in S'pore as well especially my fellow friends.

Looking forward to spending such enjoyable holiday again with family especially. Gonna miss them a lot and not forgetting my little Dolly .
